The bananas’ haiku

I have multiplied
And I have been fruitful, yet

Wild woodland cousins;
Laden down with fertile seed.
I am envious.

    A poem inspired by the Llama/Banana Cycle:

    There’s a green-eyed* yellow llama to the north of Macchu Picchu…

    * I know it should be one-eyed. But, no offence to people of monocular arrangement, I don’t like the idea of a one-eyed llama in my poem. We’ve got a one-eyed fish at home and that freaks me out a bit. So, a green-eyed llama.
